Movie Skit
Part 1
- Make a group of 3 to 5 people.
- As a group, choose a movie. Then, write a screenplay for a new scene that takes place (happened) one year after the movie ends (or alternatively, before the movie begins).
- Each group will write one screenplay.
- The final screenplay must be typed (due week 16).
- A first draft of your screenplay should be ready by week 15.
Part 2
- You will perform your scene in front of the class.
- It will be done on week 16.
- The performance should be between 3-5 minutes.
- Generally one page of a screenplay is one minute. So your screenplays should be between 3-5 pages in length.
- You will turn in the final draft of your screenplay before you go on stage.
